Allen House Fire Narrowly Avoids Destruction

Lakeshore adds two heavy freight engines to daily output
The Lakeshore line is expanding motive power with eighteen of ninety ordered freight engines arriving at Buffalo since December 1. Built at Brooks Works in Dunkirk, they cost 15 000 to 18 000 dollars each and will be delivered within two months.
