Boy Bitten by Mad Dog Seeks Care After Attack
A ten year old boy named Bennett of East Avenue was severely bitten Saturday morning by a supposed mad dog. He received care at Dr. Cushing's office for two bites on the right leg and hand, the hand wounds being serious. Officer Whitney killed the dog after it attacked. the owner is unknown and the animal was brown and of good size. The car nearby halted the incident as the dog collapsed.

Nurse blamed for death of Lorain infant from laudanum dose
An eight week old Lorain baby died after a nurse gave a diluted laudanum solution to ease stomach ache. The dose absorbed water, concentrating the narcotic to several times the intended amount, but no blame attaches to the nurse. The child was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Metzger of Cornell Street Lorain.

How Robbers Are Hunted in Oberlin
In Oberlin on Thursday the Nelsons who fled Cleveland with stolen chickens returned to their mother's home. Local authorities with eight deputies and a fire-horse team surrounded the house but the Nelsons escaped before capture. A dispatch from Trenton New Jersey reports Justice Van Sickle filed a written opinion of the court of errors and appeals in the United States steel corporation suit.
