A justice court in Columbus awarded Harry A. Nunnemacher damages and costs totaling 185.70 against the R B Belcher company publishers of The Great Republic. Nunnemacher claimed a six week sales contract with guaranteed pay of 20 per week, but was not paid and sued for the full amount. He argued he remained available for the contract period but the company refused to release him. The judgment favored the plaintiff.
