Mrs Nellie Bushnell Seeks Divorce For NonSupport And Deceit

Mrs Nellie Bushnell seeks a divorce from John Bushnell alleging refusal to provide for support and to fund their son Rollin's schooling. They wed in the city on June 16 1891 and have a 13 year old son. She states she must run a boarding house to support herself and keep Rollin in school. His present whereabouts are unknown. last heard of him in Seattle Washington.

Verbeck Theater Fire Inquest Highlights Stage Axe and Suspected Motive

Coroner French questioned witnesses over the Verbeck theater fire of December 17 at Parkside chapel Lorain. He traced movements from stage carpenter Marsh through the building to the Marsh suites and living rooms, probing Dwyer and other staff, while noting the building's cheap construction and unlocked gallery doors. The inquiry aimed to uncover any motive or overlooked details contributing to the fatal blaze and the fate of four Hyves.

Christmas Exercises At Disciple Bandas School

The regular Christmas exercises of the Disciple Bandas school were held Tuesday night at the church. The program, split between the younger and older groups, featured songs, recitations, and a cantata The Ten Virgins with roles by James Fauger and several church members. After the program, children were treated to candy and oranges. Rev. B. W. Allen read the scripture and is visiting Laporte with his father.

Herbert Lindsley Re-Arrested In Oberlin Theft Case

After a year as a fugitive from justice Herbert Lindsley of Oberlin was re ar rested and jailed by Deputies Ward and Salisbury on Tuesday night. He faces arraignment on theft charges linked to a grand jury indictment with others to be indicted next session. A rural mail carrier named Grills once identified him as a suspect but Lindsley pleaded not guilty and bail was set, then reduced. Lee Nothidge was also being pursued after being located in Oberlin and will be tried on the indictment charges.
