Peter Osterman, the imbecile plaintiff in a divorce suit, was found by Cleveland police wandering dazed on Saturday and returned to Avon. Probate requested a guardian as he cannot care for himself. Prize awarded to Eagles by merchants in city voting contest

Three months ago ten merchants started a voting contest open to any church or society in the city. The Eagles won the prize, a Davenport Treacy piano, with 1,696,908 votes. U. I. S. Lutheran church received 197,730, St. Marys church notched 77,730, Disciple congregation 41,033, others trailed.

Christmas Fight Sparks Fines in Jiunkey Village Incident

A Monday clash near the Fox Pure se plant in Jiunkey village led to four fines. Charles Shrack and John Koudroff each paid $4 plus costs by the mayor on Tuesday morning. Two others were released after police intervened during an attempted breakup. Brown received a $5 fine for intoxication on Tuesday.

Judge Boynton Wins $18,000 Middle Avenue Bond Bid

Judge WW Boynton of Cleveland and Elyria was the successful bidder on an $18,000 issue of Middle Avenue extension improvement bonds. His bid included a premium of $50, marking the first instance a private individual has paid on municipal bonds. Other bidders included Hayes & Son Cleveland, Todd & Co Cincinnati, Savings Banks Toledo, Hohler & Corings Mead, Trayden Miller Cleveland, and Dennison Pryor Cleveland with bids ranging from about $666 to $1,0137.
