Supreme court victory in Osborne v Osborne case
Osbornes win on appeal overturning lower court rulings. George Osborne owned 300 acres in Columbia valued at 5 000 to 6 000 dollars. He deeded 72 acres to Andrew and the rest to his grandchildren Charles and Joseph. Andrew later sought control and a trust division among five grandchildren. The court presided over a complex trust and title dispute with heirs. The land will be distributed among five children rather than Joseph alone.
