News of the death of James Herdman on December 5 at his home in Zanesville has reached relatives in Elyria and vicinity. His widow, formerly Miss Angie Patterson, receives deep sympathy from many friends. Herdman was a highly respected citizen of Zanesville.
Burglars hit Adam Tinger's store and the C. E. and W. electric line ticket office Sunday night. They broke the ticket cabinet but took no cash, loaded cigars and small items, and left no clues or tickets.
B M Stevens named administrator of Herbert G Clegg estate Lorain with a $1000 bond signed by B E Johnson and J M Lessick. Settlement for death ordered with Cleveland Lorain and Wheeling railroad. Estate to receive $500 and go to the mother. Local machinists with press and die making skills sought by American Shovel and Stamping Co in South Lorain 68ty.
