Runaway near Ridgeville endangers Webbers from Lake Lawn
Mr and Mrs GG Webber of Lake Lawn Lorain escaped injury Monday afternoon when their buggy wheels hit a rut. Webber stood to rest, was thrown onto the horse which reared and plunged. Mrs Webber aided him back into the buggy as the horse bolted and ran about a half mile before stopping. The Webbers’ connection to Judge A Ro Webber is noted.

General Grant's Cousin Nathan O Grant Dies in Michigan
Nathan O Grant, cousin of the late General Ulysses S Grant, died Tuesday at his nephew Professor F D Ward's home in Lorain. He had stomach trouble and acute indigestion leading to gastritis. He was seventy five and resided in Woodland, Michigan. The body was taken to his late home for burial Wednesday morning.

Pioneer Minister Passes Away in Oberlin
Rev. H P Chabee a pioneer Oberlin resident died Monday at his Vine Street home. Born in Cleveland on April 19 1827 he came to Oberlin in 1846 and graduated from the college in 1849 and the seminary in 1858.
