Cleveland report details a secret two year marriage in Elyria, a baby born to the young wife who went partly blind and died after two months at the infirmary. The dying father, ill with typhoid, spoke of the child and asked his mother to find and raise it at home.
Ira Glesert, Lorain Street Railway motorman, who vanished about three weeks ago, is working in Saginaw Michigan. His wife Mrs Glasser received a letter asking her to come to Saginaw. He begs forgiveness and promises happiness if reconciled. He works as a motorman under T C Cherry in Saginaw.
The county outlines four registration days October 13, 20, 23 and 29 with election day November 8. Increased precincts require new officials and more booths and gear. The county board of elections will stay in session all day to register qualified voters who appear.
A marriage license was issued in Cleveland to George Hanser and Emma Fher of Warrensville on Wednesday. Both stated ages of twenty two.
In a West Broad street feud between the Kuch and Hult families a saloon dispute led to the arrest of nineteen year old Carl Esch on two charges. The mayor fined Esch eight dollars plus costs after trial on the first charge. The case had been appealed to the court of common pleas on error with attorney Rudin opposing the motion to quash. The proceedings featured repeated objections and a controversial bill of errors expected to be filed with the county clerk.
Herbert Butler signed for a divorce from Hattie Butler alleging adultery on August 13 and 14 with C L Simmons at the Tavitchcock Hotel in Cleveland. The petition seeks custody of their son Clifford. Mrs Butler did not return home after being found with Simmons and may be with relatives in Lorin while Simmons plans a Nova Ohio visit with Mrs Simmons.
Deacon John Ramsey, a 121 year old resident of Oberlin Ohio, recalls a lifetime from slavery to local leadership. He helped build the city’s oldest church, shuns tobacco though enjoys outdoor life and calm faith, and claims never to have uttered an oath. His endurance draws visitors from miles away.

Miss Misa Smith daughter of Wilson G. Smith the Cleveland musician was severely bitten by the Hildebrandt family bulldog while visiting Berlin Heights. The dog locked its jaws on her arm requiring three men to separate it. The animal was shot and Dr. Hine treated the wound. No hydrophobia signs.
