George Crawford lay dying in St. Joseph's Hospital Lorain after a bloody fight at the steel plant last night. Police found him at the Grove and Loth streets corner stabbed in the abdomen. Mike Dufkis and Mela Borsender were arrested in connection with the stabbing.

Deposition in Oak Point electric accident case

Attorney Anthony Nelding traveled to Cleveland today to depose witnesses in the Martha Schmenkel infant suit against the Lake Shore Electric Co. filed in common pleas court. The Oak Point episode, two years past, saw an electric car strike picnickers on a trestle, tossing them thirty feet and causing about 15000 in damages. Mrs Forbes left for Cleveland to stay a week.

Ensign Funeral Announced For Charles C Ensign

Funeral services for Charles C Ensign will be held Sunday afternoon at Ridgeville with Rev W C Dawson officiating. Interment follows in Elyria cemetery. Mr Ensign, an Elk exalted ruler, died by self inflicted gunshot yesterday amid illness and anger. Elyria Elks expected to attend in a body.

Funeral for Mrs. John Wolfsberger Held at Home

Funeral services for Mrs. John Wolfsberger were conducted at her home in Coonville, officiated by Rev. Withycombe. The body was transported to Cleveland by special car and laid to rest at the Erte Street Cemetery after a private interment.

North Amherst Man Chosen President

The third annual convention of the Christian Endeavor societies of central and northern Ohio closed today with officers elected for the year. Zanesville will host the next meeting. Also, Nicholas Klassen narrowly escaped injury after slipping on railroad tracks at North Amherst depot, suffering only a wrist sprain.

Theobald Named City Engineer For Lorain City

Clinton Theobald was chosen city engineer to succeed Ir W Griffin who resigned. The salary was fixed at 100 per month. Theobald is among the brightest young civil engineers in Lorain County and is expected to fulfill the duties with credit and benefit to the city.
