Amherst Boy Arrested by State Marshal
Orrin D. Brown a youth near North Amherst was arrested by U S Deputy Marshal Fanning on charges of sending obscene letters to the sons of his boss. Ace Broughton filed the charges after a mail carrier delivered the letter to the Broughton home and Mrs. Broughton read it. Prosecutor Lee Stroup notified authorities. Brown was arraigned and bound over to the U S Grand Jury for the October term and released on bail.

The heating system is being installed by Mr Roemer who reported rapid progress and all material on site.
