New School Code Planned by State Officials
Bonebrake state school commissioner and Smith Bennett special state counsel will draft a new school code to be presented at the next legislative session. Seventy one cities form city districts and 13 villages form village districts with hamlets and townships forming special districts. Small school councils will be elected at large in city districts and all cities will share the same laws as villages with varied regulations for each classification.
