The Rev BT Noakes, rector of the Church of the Epiphany in Cleveland, preached his farewell sermon on Sunday after a forty six year ministry. Ordained in the Protestant Episcopal church, he served at Elyria and Gembier before leading churches in Philadelphia and Columbus, then returning to Elyria to build St Andrew's. He later helped form Emmanuel in Cleveland and, with others, established the current Epiphany parish and its church on Hold Avenue.

The Ridgeville township Sunday convention will be held at the Congregational Church on Saturday May 9 at 6445. Rev JP Reidinger VP of the union will preside and Prof H O King of Oberlin College will be the principal speaker. King will speak to 88 workers with other Oberlin speakers and Mr Cope of North Ridgeville also involved.

He alleges Durand as executor omitted a mortgage of 13000 from the estate inventory and discharged the mortgage on November 18, yand.
