Council Clears Up 610 Area Projects and Bridges

The council reviews unfinished business before new officers take office. Plans for the Washington Avenue bridge with a 49 foot roadway and two 38 foot high arches are adopted. A smaller bridge for the west branch to Elyria Iron and Steel works is approved, location tentative due to site issues. Also approved are land purchase for a water works pipe site, extension of Woodford Avenue, an opened alley on Woodward, and a sidewalk on Huron Street near the bridge. The meeting ends with adjournment.
