Mr Braman a lumberman and banker from Elyria and Lorain County dies after illness. Born October 4 1836 in Carlile township he helped found Braman Horr and Warner cheese factory and served as county treasurer and leader in agriculture and temperance. Survived by wife Sophia Patterson and children Theodore Braman and Louise Braman. Funeral arrangements to be announced.

Elyria G A R members gathered at the Odd Fellows hall in Wellington for a camp-fire event hosted by the G A R W R G. About 900 veterans and women from relief and auxiliary groups attended. J T Haskell gave the welcome, with Comrade Cole of Oberlin, Mrs Parsons, and Mrs Hyland among speakers. The Richard Allen Post and Elisha Hayden Post sent about 75 and 20 members respectively from Elyria. Catering and transportation were provided by local organizations, ending with a social gathering.

A warrant was sworn in Justice Lord's court for the arrest of S. Ault, manager of Elyria Cont Co, on assault and battery charges. Neipfoot and Ault clashed on East Bridge Street in At nwa with punches and a thrown stone. Neipfoot says he was struck, knocked down, and knocked Ault down with a blow as the confrontation ended.

Infirmary Annex Plans Approved by State Officials
Secretary H H Shirer of the Ohio Board of State Charities approved the infirmary annex plans after a morning meeting with country commissioners. The project carries about 89,000 to 100,000 in expenditure with a 10,000 bond issue planned and a 10,000 bond to follow during construction for the jail annex. A 8,000 building fund remains in reserve.
