In the Fourth Judicial District of Elko County Nevada Margaret Hay has been appointed administratrix of the estate of Alexander Leslie Hay deceased. Creditors must file claims with the court within three months from first publication with proper vouchers and an affidavit or be barred. Dated May 27 1918. The Elko County Board acting as Carlin Town Board adopts a dog tax ordinance. It imposes a $3 annual fee for unspayed female dogs and $2 for all others, with registration, metal plates, impounding, and penalties for noncompliance and running at large during heat.
An 1918 Carlin ordinance limits impounding dogs to residents and allows owners to reclaim impounded dogs by paying costs. publication in Elko Independent for one week and posting within Carlin Township required.
