A former resident of Elkhart she was a popular graduate of Elkhart High School class of 1898. Remains arrive Tuesday at 1:20 pm for services at the Presbyterian church at 2 pm conducted by Rev Frazer with pallbearers chosen from the graduating class of 1899.

Battle Between Horses and Tiger on Circus Train
A two year old Indian tiger killed in a fight with horses aboard a moving circus train traveling from Goshen to Poughkeepsie. The tiger escaped its wagon den, climbed over four wagons, and entered a car with 30 draught horses. In the ensuing panic the tiger was slain under a horse’s hoofs.
