The husband claims he provided for his wife and never used harsh language. He intends to prove he never swears and that he kept ample provisions in the house. The case will not be heard until the next term of court.
Telegram received by The Truth reports interment in Ontario California on Monday at 10 30 for Mrs Hubbell widow of O %. The message also notes the death of the one and a half year old son of George Sommers near Wakarusa from lung fever and the death of John E Quaintance a Mishawaka resident of 50 years due to a complication of diseases.

Mrs Lydia Fuller widow of L P Fuller died at her Goshen home yesterday afternoon at the advanced age of 72 years.
Mrs. Henry Fye of Niles drowned herself in the St. Joseph river Friday night after suffering mental alteration due to ill heart. She was found near the river bank by local residents and the circumstances are under investigation.
The family rose to prominence after a jury awarded them ten thousand dollars for injuries suffered by their young daughter from a dog owned by Charles A Chapin.
Werner Hager managing editor of the South Bend Courier vanished after leaving his office Saturday morning. He was carrying a substantial amount of money and has not been seen since, prompting a police search and family concern.

J McM Smith vice president of Indiana Railway Company asserts private right of way purchase ensures construction of the South Bend to Michigan City interurban line. He says the project is real, not a bluff, with most right of way secured and grading under way along the route near the Lake Shore railroad.
Attorney James H. State representing WiBE Bucklen and U S District Attorney J J Lafollett completed a deed transfer for the northwest corner of Jackson and Main Streets where the new government building will stand. Lafollett paid State eleven thousand nine hundred dollars.
