Oresnius Mosier Former Deputy Sheriff Dies at 70
Oresnius Mosier aged 70 died at his Goshen home on Wisden avenue yesterday morning at 8 from paralysis after two strokes and eighteen months bedridden. A prominent Major he served as deputy sheriff in 1864. He leaves five sons and two daughters. The funeral will be held at 3 tomorrow from the late residence with interment at Oak Ridge cemetery.

Child Falls Into Cistern. Mother Rescues It From Water
The year and a half old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lees on Sherman street fell through a tipped board covering into a cistern shortly after noon. Mrs. Lees jumped in, reached the child beneath the water, and pulled it to safety. The infant was unconscious with water on the lungs but is expected to recover after medical care. Mrs. Lees suffered shock and fright from the icy immersion.

Instant Death for Tin Shop Foreman at Hast High Street
Richard Miller foreman at Borneman and Dolli’s hardware was killed when he touched a live electric wire on a scaffold in front of the electric light station on Hast High street at 9:30 this afternoon.
