Clermont Commercial Club Meeting Highlights In October

The October meeting of the Clermont Commercial Club was praised as the best of the year thanks to Supt. B A Ralston of West Union public schools. He spoke 25 minutes on community welfare, urging strong banks, schools, churches, and recreational options as essential to a thriving town. The club voted to adopt several of his ideas through the community welfare committee, honored late member Charles A. Hoffman, and approved the Business and Professional Woman's Society request to serve suppers for six months at 85 cents per plate.
