Town and Country Club Opens Season With Planned Programs
Members of the Town and Country Club met at Mrs. Willet Miner’s home Thursday Sept 28 for the season’s first meeting. Devotions were by Mrs Wayne Gilson. The year’s emphasis includes seat belt use in cars cancer checks and a pattern contest at the club. Members contributed to district projects and planned a visit to Mrs Oliver Hansen on Oct 12 for a Day tour. Education in Falésia was presented by Mrs Wm Nelson Jr. It ended with singing A Mighty Fortress Is Our God and a club collect followed by lunch hosted by the hostess.
