Trout Walleyes and Bass Bite Hard In The Fall
North east Iowa trout streams run clear and yield fine fishing with summer stockings, hoppers and crickets as bait. Walleyes and bass provide strong fall action across the state, with reports of good catches wherever waters remain productive. A mowing accident left a great toe amputated above the first joint. Elmer Hardisty reports a seven foot tall corn stalk with twelve ears clustered in Masse na garden, frost permitting. Continuous daily muscular exercise is advised for most people.
