Yellow Lines On Town Roads A Centered No Passing Mark
Critics question center lane placement of yellow no passing lines on town highways. Reported issues include reduced visibility and insufficient warning distance for motorists, especially in poor conditions or limited sight lines.
Iowa highway lines shift to driver side for warnings
E F Koch chief engineer of the Iowa highway commission explains that 18 foot highways force motorists near the center. Paint wears quickly under heavy traffic so lines are now painted on the driver's side for warning. They last about a year and the policy targets 22 to 24 foot wide roads due to limited manpower and funds.

Fragmented humor and moral quips from an era
A garbled montage of dialogue and jokes captures flaring lips, trembling frames, jeep cautions, and rail crossing mishaps. It parodies college questions and marital quips as an Arizona co ed jokes about going to college and letters from a wife’s milliner, ending with a guns versus machine gun pun.
