The Elgin Echo Dial is published every Thursday by Strauch and Herman, entered as second class mail on September 1, 1891, at the Elgin post office in Fayette County Iowa under the 1652 act.
Rates listed for subscriptions at $2.00 per year in four counties and $2.50 outside territory. Advertising per line ten cents, Want Ads sixteen cents per line with 30 cent weekly minimum if cash paid. otherwise 50 cents. Blind ads and inquiries 0 per week. Cards of Thanks and In Memoriam cards set at $1.00, limited to ten lines. Notices with admission charged and obituary poetry at regular rates.
