Iowa state study backs provisional licenses for under 21
May Help Several state officials show interest in a driving research lab recommendation from Iowa State College to issue provisional licenses for persons under 21. Upon turning 21, drivers would automatically receive a senior license if their records are satisfactory. The plan stems from a study noting higher fatal crash rates among young drivers than in less serious accidents.

Drainage Upgrades Boost Farm Life Time Benefits
Improved drainage offers lasting advantages for farmers by eliminating wet spots enabling earlier spring field work and improving yields. A proper tile system begins paying dividends soon and can deliver benefits for 50 years or more. Two new clothing colors to watch this spring are periwinkle blue and cornflower blue.
