Second District Meeting of WW I Veterans Held in Elkader
The 2nd District Meeting of Veterans of World War I and Ladies Auxiliary met in Elkader at the Municipal Building with a picnic dinner for 150 members from nine of twelve counties. Officers elected include R. P. Neiers as district commander and Edward Leonard as senior vice commander. the Fayette County group led with 35 delegates. The next meeting is slated for Waukon on June 30 with a picnic dinner.
