Louis L. Wenger born October 1 1983 in Elgin died March 17 at Postville hospital at age seventy one. He lived his life on the family farm five miles southeast of Elgin from age three until death and worked with his mother and later his brother Edward on the farm. He attended rural school Elgin High School one year and completed business administration at Upper Iowa University Fayette. He was predeceased by his father mother and a brother John. he is survived by nine brothers and four sisters.
