Emma Allen born June 1861 on a Freeport area farm to Perrin and Margaret Allen. She married Jacob Crider in 1883, raised six sons and a daughter, and later two more marriages, ending with Louis Liddle of Alpha. She lived in several Iowa communities, was active in women's circles, and died March 7 1950 at her son Ray Crider’s home in Elgin. Funeral held at Muehlethaler with Rev Bruce Jones. burial in Waucoma.
