Free Movie Plan Called Unprofitable and Detrimental
Reports from committee members in charge of the weekly free moving picture enterprise claim the program is an unprofitable expense and harms the town. It began as a local trade builder but has proven a total fail, costing about 100 dollars monthly this season with crowds mainly from neighboring towns. Local businesses say most attendees do not spend and others use Clermont crowds to promote rival adverts, making another series unlikely.
