Ingval Ingvaldson Haag died June 10 at St Olaf hospital Austin Minnesota at seventy three after a period of ill health. Born June 17 1859 in Marsdalen Hadeland Norway he immigrated in 1882 and lived in Rock County Elgin Blooming Prairie and Freeborn County. He never married and left kin in Norway Iowa Wisconsin and North Dakota. Funeral and burial were at Moscow Lutheran Church cemetery with Rev Overgaard officiating.
The Fayette meet reduced single admission to 25 cents, the lowest in years, after the county fair charged 35 cents previously while others asked 50 cents. Local notes mention Mrs. Tie Hansen and Mary visiting Cedar Rapids last Tuesday.
At a stockholders meeting in West Union, unanimous votes authorized liquidation of Fayette County National Bank.
