Miss Letha Haigh and Robert Yearous wed at Buck Creek Methodist Church near Hopkinton on Sunday June 10 at 2 00 pm in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rev J Faris before relatives and friends. The bride wore nylon Chantilly lace over satin with a ballerina length gown and veil. She carried white roses. maid of honor Hila Haigh wore pink lace and net and carried a bouquet.
Elgin edged Arlington 3 to 2 on the road as Olson Schmid Henninger and Barker produced early offense. Erickson earned the win with six innings pitched, two Arlington pitchers were faced, Dixon umpired and E Lantz was scorer.
