Where Do You Throw Your Trash
Through the years devoted teachers have taught the merits of soap and water, oral hygiene and proper eating habits, care of the skin and food preparation, and the medical profession, grocerymen, soap and toothpaste companies, and even plumbers have assisted in these efforts. But, to date, no one has taught us where to throw our trash. We are no longer litter bugs, we have become highway hogs. Children should be taught not to throw trash on the road. Let's hope every person in the whole world will make or buy a litter bag.

Funeral Services for Mrs Marvel Messerli in Wadena
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wadena Presbyterian Church for Mrs Marvel Mes serii with Rev Ukena conducting. Music was provided by several local singers. Burial followed in Wadena Cemetery. Marvel Elizabeth Schroeder Messerli, born June 28 1698 near Strawberry Point, Iowa, married Walter Day Messerli in 1920 and had two children Virginia Coke and Keith Messerli. Survivors include the two children and two grandsons Walter and Pete Coke. Relatives came from Rochester and Florida.
