Pioneer Trails topic centers Volga Valley Club meeting
The Volga Valley Club and Mrs. Alice Gage met last Thursday to discuss Our Pioneer Trails with roll call asking Where my family came from. A homemade ice cream strawberry cake and lemonade snack followed. Many residents, including Henrietts Homewood, Blanche Aeschuman, Ed Gernand, and Margaret Broughton visited or hosted relatives across nearby towns. A memorial for John Etter and a Presbyterian church ladies program at the end of the week capped local social activity.
