Directors to fill three year terms for District Nos. 2 and 3, current terms expiring 1983 and 1963, a two year treasurer term for Dean DeSart expiring 1964, and a Fayette County board member race. District No. 1 rural Clermont votes for treasurer. District No. 2 Clermont votes for board member treasurer and county board member at large.

Herbert Harold Haas born February 2, 1899 near Elgin later farmed west of Elgin for 45 years. Survived by daughter Lorraine, sons William and Clarence, four grandchildren, sister Mrs Alfred Baechler, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral August 24 at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev Lee Roy Collins.
