Bishop Gehring Couple Wed In Bethel Church Ceremony

Miss Bonna Irene Bishop of West Union and Leroy M Gehring of Fairbank were married in a double ring ceremony at Bethel Presbyterian Church Sunday evening August 13 conducted by Rev A G Ukena. The bride, daughter of Clifford and Mrs Bishop, was attended by her twin sister Mrs Marvin Buckholz as matron of honor. Marian and Ruth Gehring were bridesmaids with Lowell Gehring as best man and Uriel Gehring and Louis Halverson as groomsmen. Wayne Larson and Clarence Bishop were ushers. The bride, a West Union high school graduate, plans to teach rural school. The groom attended Elgin high school, served seven months in the Army, and works as a mechanic at Falb Light. They will reside in the home once occupied by Mrs Selma Schneider.
