Local notes from Clermont community updates
Lillian Meyer missed the past week of school while Ada Miller visited the Lindroph family in Luana. Numerous residents hosted visits and dinners, including the Bilden sisters in Oelwein and Mrs. Schave's operation at Postville hospital. Many townsfolk attended gatherings, aided by local farms and businesses, with several travelers and visitors from Ossian, Castalia, Elgin, and Des Moines. News covers births, sickly days, school absences, Easter visits, and family events across Clermont and nearby towns. Read the ads, Save money.
