Seed corn testing advice for planting season
Tornadoes seldom occur outside the United States, and chiefly in the Mis ssissippi valley. Hundreds of samples of co-called' seed corn, when tested by the Iowa Department of Agriculture show a commination of as low as 3.5 per cent and only a small percentage of the samples submitted were fit for plant ing. Because of this situation it is advised that no corn be planted this year without first having the seed thoroughly tested.
