North America population more than doubled 1880 to 1940
Population in North America grew from about 165 million in 1880 to over 330 million by 1940, more than doubling. Growth linked to immigration, urbanization, and higher birth rates amid economic expansion. The rise reshaped demographics, labor markets, and regional planning across the continent.
