Sheriff Seizes 50 Punchboards at Pine Lake Country Club
Acting on a tip from Iowa Attorney General Rob ert Larson via County Attorney Don Barker, Sheriff Paul Hodgson raided Pine Lake Country Club before moon Saturday and seized about 50 punchboards and liquor. Barker said he planned to visit from Iowa Falls to discuss charges, likely illegal possession of gambling devices and keeping whisky where beer is sold. The operation followed a letter from an Iowa resident that prompted the AG’s copy to the county attorney.
