Community groups share Christmas plans and family news
The American Legion and Auxiliary held their monthly meeting and Christmas party at the schoolhouse. Toys were donated for Woodward Hospital and coffee and donuts will be served at the Kruse open house Saturday. Christmas programs are planned at Presbyterian and Baptist churches. A baby girl arrived to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Oelman of Ackley, formerly Mary Lou Bear. Dorcas Society met with 35 members, elected new officers, and sent toys and fruit funds to missionaries in Kentucky.
