S. P. Lowers Mileage Ticket Prices And Expands Regions

The S P company begins 1000 mile mileage tickets to El Paso for 30 dollars usable in Arizona and New Mexico, expanding beyond the prior 3000 mile ticket. A Pacific Coast Information Bureau opens at 613 Market Street San Francisco to aid rates routes and tickets. Spring and summer excursion rates are offered to Newport Beach California at 35 dollars round trip, with further cuts to 5 dollars to Monterey and a 5 dollar stop over option via Galveston and San Antonio for special ticket holders. The move follows pressure from the El Paso commercial agency and could reduce passenger earnings if other lines respond with more cuts.
