Daring holdup in stock yards leads to fatal shooting

In Chicago the noon holdup at Otto Rosloff’s saloon near 38th and Honore Streets left Rosloff wounded and $250 stolen. A pursuing crowd clashed with two robbers. John Harris, a watchman for Anglo American Packing, fatally wounded one robber before being shot. The wounded bandit died at the hospital an hour later. Police have not named the other robbers.
