Chicken Olympics Crowned at Woodway High in Edmonds
In October 1972 at Woodway Senior High School Edmonds Washington the eighth International Chicken Olympics crowned Pierre from French class world champion for Woodway. German Club hosts 49 entrants for elimination heats leading to an international showdown with Edmonds and Lynnwood high schools and the Edmonds School Board. The event aims to let students be kids amid peer pressure and school spirit as banners confetti and cheerleaders fill the gym.
