Candle Ignites Edmonds Condominium Fire

A candle started a blaze in an Edmonds College Place condo waking Sharon Post and her family. No injuries. flames grew from an upstairs bedroom with wax dripping onto a couch. Firefighters from three departments battled the fire in minutes, estimating $10,000 in damage.

No foul play in death in Mountlake Terrace case

Mountlake Terrace police reported no foul play after a badly decomposed body was found in a Ter race home. The elderly woman, living alone, likely died of natural causes two or more months prior, with detectives seeking dental clues to identify the remains.

Edmonds chosen for downtown study by Washington group
