Auto emission tests heat up Lynnwood station tale
Pamela J. Woodroffe reports on Lynnwood's three lane emissions inspection site as part of a six site Seattle Everett area program. Officials expect air cleaner by 25 percent while inspectors process about 100 cars in four and a half hours. About 18 percent fail with a free second chance then up to 50 dollars to fix. Citizens voice concerns over fumes health risk and wait times as Ecology officials plan further air quality studies and future testing at Lynnwood High School.
