The Beach Boys play at Puyallup Fair on September 19 and 20 with 5 and 8 p.m. shows. Advance tickets cost 11 10 and 8 dollars and can be purchased by calling 841-5232. General fair info via 841-5045. The 1983 Fair runs noon to closing on September 9 through 25.
The Western Washington Fair unveils an entertainment lineup led by Red Skelton on Sept 9 at 7:30 p.m. Osmond Brothers Donny Marie and Jimmy headline Sept 10–11 with shows at 2 and 7 p.m. Other acts include Greg Kihn, Engelbert Humperdinck, Conway Twitty, The Beach Boys, and Oak Ridge Boys. Grandstand tickets run 8–11 dollars. rodeo is general admission.
Mountlake Christian High School displays second semester honors with straight A students including seniors Steven Stenberg Norman Robinson and Barbara Brockhoff. High honors include Steven Schuller Matthew Robinson and Corinne Balisky. Mountlake Christian Junior High lists straight A eighth graders Andrea Berger Lynn Anderson and Krista Stenberg, with high honors for eighth graders Lorrie Perencevic Julie Lang Yu-wei Hsieh Ann Fancher, and seventh grader Jeffrey Schuller.
