Snohomish County Rescue Copter Returns to Service
After six years of fundraising and about 60 thousand dollars in parts, Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue restored the Huey UH1B helicopter. The aircraft, rebuilt after a Glacier Peak crash, flew a June 22 rescue to Sloan Peak and operates from Harvey Field with local volunteers funding gear and operations.
