Edmonds appoints Jack Wilson to council seat
Jack Wilson, a 53 year old dentist, was chosen by the Edmonds City Council from 14 candidates to fill the unexpired term of Katie Allen. The six ballot process ended with Wilson receiving four votes to Dwyer’s two. Wilson, longtime Edmonds Rotary member and Edmonds Art Festival supporter, was born in Colville and educated at the University of Washington. He has not previously run for office and cited commitment to the community as his motive.
