Harrison bows out as mayor after 16 years in Edmonds
Longtime Edmonds mayor Harrison retires after 16 years in office. He recalls opening doors to residents, signs bearing We Are Here To Help You, and a career shaping city growth, police and fire fitness tests, and the creation of the 911 system. He notes council friction and rivalries, but values his role in maintaining harmony and efficiency.
