Terrace puts canine waterfowl plan on hold
Mountlake Terrace City Council tabled a proposal to use border collie Tucker to scare migratory waterfowl from Lake Ballinger and nearby golf course. Wildlife biologist Martha Jordan urged fencing and outside funding, while council seeks more information before approving a $5,000 pilot and potential contracts.
